(Hypericum perforatum) A perennial herbaceous plant, 80-90 cm high. The flowers are large, golden yellow, collected in a wide paniculate inflorescence. Flowering in June-August, fruiting in August-September. Propagated by seeds that are sown directly into the ground. It prefers well fertilized soils. Seeds are sown in loose soil before winter or early spring. The above-ground mass is harvested during the period of mass flowering.
