An early variety of salad type onions used for growing feathers and small bulbs. Onions are dark green, straight, firm, bulbs are white, flat round. Grown for summer and fall crops, used fresh, canned. It grows best on humus-rich sandy loam soil. Onions grow well on soil where cereals, potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots have been grown before.
