Fruits up to 20 kg with dense and juicy flesh. Late maturing variety: the period from sprouting to full ripening of fruits is 125-130 days. The plant is spindly. The fruit is rounded, segmented, smooth, dark orange with a pattern of creamy spots.
Pumpkin seeds germinate for a long time, the plant itself develops for a long time (120-140 days). Therefore, it is best to grow it through seedlings. To sowing on seedlings start 25-35 days before planting in the ground.
It is better to sow not in boxes, but in separate glasses, as pumpkin does not tolerate transplanting well. Water the seedlings with warm water (+25 ° C), feed 1-2 times with mineral fertilizers. The seedlings are planted on the bed June 10-12, under cover – May 20-25. If you have not managed to grow seedlings, you can sow seeds in the open ground (but not earlier than May 25). Pre-soak them in water or germinate in wet sawdust until a small root tip appears. The depth of sowing seeds – 8-12 cm.
