(Cucurbita pepo) Bushy. Fruits are cylindrical, up to 20-60 cm long, yellow in color, amazing taste, suitable for dietary food, canning and preparation of various vegetarian dishes. Light, fertile soils with low groundwater table are most suitable for zucchini, it does not tolerate acidic soils. Seeds are sown in late May – early June (after the spring frosts have passed). Seeds are sown in wells of 2-Z pcs. The distance between the wells is at least 60 cm. After the emergence of sprouts, weak plants are carefully removed. Further care consists of regular watering, loosening, perching and fertilizing. Harvesting fruits is done regularly at intervals of 2-3 days, avoiding their overripening. Zucchini can be grown through seedlings. The seedlings are sown in early May, in the open ground seedlings are planted in early June in the phase of 2-4 leaves.
