Pindos F1 is a productive variety of smooth cucumbers. They ripen in 35-40 days after planting. They are suitable for growing in pots and film greenhouses. Cucumbers with green, smooth skin, 32-36 cm long, very tasty, not bitter. The variety is resistant to diseases – cucumber mosaic virus, powdery mildew and cucumber scab. It tolerates temperature fluctuations well. It is a particularly suitable variety for early spring and autumn harvest. Cucumber seeds are sown in seedling cassettes or pots in March – April for spring harvest or in July for autumn harvest. Cucumber seedlings are planted or sown directly into open ground in late May, early June in rows at a distance of 80 – 120 cm from each other, at a distance of 30 cm from plant to plant.
