Vegetable thyme. Drought-resistant, winter-hardy, aromatic perennial with creeping shoots, up to 25 cm high. Recommended for use in fresh and dried form (leaves and young shoots) in home cooking. It is added in small quantities to meat and vegetable dishes, salads, and marinades. It is also used as an ornamental and honey plant. Sowing seeds for seedlings in March. Shoots appear after 2 weeks. With the development of one or two true leaves, the seedlings dive. Plant seedlings in open ground when the threat of frost has passed. It is possible to sow directly into open ground in early spring or before winter.
