(Limonium sinuatum (L.) miller) Herbaceous annual plant. Stems up to 60 cm tall, erect, branched at the top. Flowers up to 1 cm in diameter are gathered in inflorescences. Flowering is abundant from July until frost. Sowing on seedlings in early April, direct sowing in the open ground in May. Sprouts appear in 10-12 days. Pick seedlings better in pots, as seedlings with an open root system takes root poorly. On a permanent place planted in May, at a distance of 20-25 cm from each other. Limonium can be arranged in small groups in mix-borders, rockeries. For drying, the pedicels are cut off during full bloom, but before the lower flowers begin to fade. Ideal for creating winter floral compositions and bouquets.
