(Tagetes patula nana) Marigold chameleon. Each flower smoothly changes color during life. On one bush you can see flowers of different colors. The plant flickers with shades, “plays” like a flame. Compact bush 20-25 cm high, spherical shape. The inflorescences are clove-shaped, 3-5 cm in diameter. The plant is light and heat-loving, prefers sunny places, does not tolerate frost. Blooms profusely from June to September. It is recommended for container culture and design of flower beds in open ground.
Marigolds are grown in seedlings. Sowing seeds is carried out in the first half of April. Seedlings appear 4-8 days after sowing, seedlings dive in the phase of one or two true leaves. Seedlings are planted in late May-early June. It is possible to sow in open ground in May to a depth of 1 cm. Plants need regular watering, weeding, loosening and top dressing.
