(Cucumis melo L.) Stone melon. Medium-early variety. Sown in March, April in seedling pots, planted outdoors in a sunny, wind-sheltered position in nutrient-rich soil. Produces large, round, flattened fruit with distinct ribbing. Flesh very sweet, sugary, firm, aromatic, intense orange colour. The skin is firm, rough and grey-orange tinged. Fruit weight 1-2 kg.
Sown under cover: IV, or directly in the soil: V. Planted: V-VI, spaced 150×100 cm. Harvest: VIII-IX.
