A variety of red onion, autumn crop, known for its shiny red skin, pinkish flesh and excellent taste. It is popular among gardeners due to
its ease of cultivation, and the bulbs are ready for harvest in mid-summer, providing an early supply of fresh onions for salads, stir-fries and other dishes. When the green part of the surface turns yellow, it is tilted to facilitate the preparation of the underground part. The optimal planting time is October at a depth of 8-10 cm. Preferably, the soil temperature should not exceed +10°C. Suitable for fresh consumption, salads, and processing.
The soil is carefully prepared, and 30-50 g/m² of complex fertilizer is applied as the main fertilizer. The planting density for onions is 75-80 plants/m². The rows are arranged so that they are easy to maintain (~30 cm apart). The preferred planting distance is 10-15 cm apart. To accelerate growth, in early spring, the plants are covered with agricultural film, which is removed when the air warms up to +20°C. In early spring, when vegetation is restored, 20 g/m² of calcium nitrate is applied, weeding and weed control are carried out. A second application of fertilizer is made through the leaves. The harvest is collected from mid-May to mid-June.
