(Apium graveolens var. rapaceum) Mid-early variety: matures 80-90 days after sowing. Leaf petioles are thick, fleshy, yellow in color, 40-70 cm long. It grows best in rich humus, well-cultivated, but not wet soil.

Sow the seeds in a light, permeable, water-absorbing soil such as coco or a mixture of garden soil and peat. Transfer the seedlings to the field in late spring or early summer. Seedlings grown from high quality seeds will grow strong and thrive in every humane garden soil, producing from August to October.
