(Anthirrhinum majus L.) Seeds Snapdragon. The bush is up to 90 cm high. Flowers are large. Blooms from June to October. Duration of flowering of one flower up to 12 days, the whole plant – up to three months. Used for flowerbeds, rambatas, group and mass plantings, mixboarders, shrub borders, for cuttings. In the cut form stands in water for 7-14 days, with all buds blooming. The plant is light-loving, cold-resistant, tolerates frosts up to -5 ° C. Soil is not demanding, but it grows better and blooms longer on fertile soils. When growing seedlings sowing is carried out in late February or in the first half of March in boxes. The seeds are lightly covered with soil. At a temperature of +15-20°C sprouts appear on 20-25 days. Seedlings are picked twice. In the open ground seedlings are planted in May, keeping a distance between plants of 20-30 cm. It can be sown directly into the open ground in the second half of April.
