(Daucus carota L) A mid-late carrot variety from the Swiss Alps with an interesting amethyst skin color. The root is quite short (10-12 cm), sharp at the end. When cut open, you can see a large, distinct creamy core surrounded by a yellow ring. An excellent variety for aromatic juices and desserts with lavender, as well as for pickling. This variety needs well-cultivated, fertile and sufficiently moist soil.
