The initial development of seedlings is very slow – within 3 months only 3-5 pairs of true leaves and a very short stem are formed. During this period, seedlings should not be watered, as various root rots can quickly begin in excessively moist soil. Also, for cultivation, loose, humus-rich soil with humus soil with good water permeability should be prepared. Adult seedlings are exposed on time, trying to injure the delicate root system as little as possible. The planting distance on the beds is 15X15 cm, but you can also grow 1-2 plants in 10 cm pots. After rooting, the stems begin to grow rapidly. To stimulate branching and increase the number of flowers, plants are pinched 1-2 times. At this stage of growth, it is important to ensure sufficient moisture and nutrients in the soil. During the entire growing period, it should be remembered that these plants need moderate humidity, warmth, good ventilation and an abundance of light. Under favourable conditions, flowering begins in the second half of July – early August and can also continue until October.
