(Hyssopus officinalis L.) ISSOP. A real “magnet” for beneficial insects in your area. Perennial shrub up to 80 cm high. Unpretentious and hardy. In one place you can grow 5-7 years. Propagated through seedlings, direct sowing or dividing the bushes. Direct sowing is carried out before winter or in early spring to a depth of 0.3-0.5 cm. Shoots appear after 10-14 days, they are periodically thinned out. To obtain seedlings, seeds are sown at the end of March. Hyssop is planted in a permanent place in early June according to a scheme of 50 cm x 25 cm. Care consists in loosening row spacing, weeding and fertilizing with complete mineral fertilizer. Greens are cut at the beginning of flowering. 2-3 cuts are made per season. Old plants are cut in autumn at a height of 5-7 cm.
