The Kelpak solution is an effective crop growth stimulant. The phytohormones in its composition—auxin (11 mg/L) and cytokinin (0.03 mg/L)—stimulate root system development.
Kelpak is a pure seaweed extract derived from freshly harvested Eklonia maxima seaweed growing in the waters off the west coast of South Africa. This seaweed is characterized by very rapid growth and contains hormones that are extracted using a unique, globally patented cell-rupturing technology. Under high pressure, the cell walls of the seaweed rupture, releasing the auxins and cytokinins they contain. To produce the Kelpak extract, the seaweed is not subjected to heating, freezing, or chemical treatment. This ensures that Kelpak’s components remain in their natural, active form. KELPAK is used to help seedlings root better, make plants more resilient, and reduce stress during transplanting. Before sowing, seeds are soaked in a 2% working solution of Kelpak to increase germination energy and reduce seed elongation. When transplanting, seedlings are soaked in or sprayed with a 2–2.5% working solution of Kelpak. As a result, the plants will take root more quickly.
