(Allium porrum L) Albos is a medium early leek variety ideal for summer or fall harvest. The white part of the stem grows quite long and reaches 35-40 cm. Leek leaves are used in many dishes. It is impossible to imagine Sunday broth without its taste. Albos leek seeds can be sown under cover as early as January. Field cultivation may begin in mid-April. Direct sowing for fall harvest should take place in April or May. Plants can also be grown from seedlings, which are planted in the soil in rows at a distance of 30-50 cm from each other. Growing leeks does not cause problems, as it does not require a lot of space. It brings a rich harvest even when grown by inexperienced gardeners.
