(Lewisia cotyledon) A perennial plant that forms bushes with fleshy rosettes of dark green leaves. It blooms profusely for a long period if faded inflorescences are regularly removed from spring to summer. You have two options for planting seeds: sow them directly in the garden after the threat of frost has passed, by surface sowing and pressing them into the soil. Or start growing seedlings indoors four to six weeks before the average date of the last frost in spring.
