(Leonurus cardiaca) An annual plant 30-150 cm high. The stem is tetrahedral, notched, covered with hairs. The leaves are ovate-triangular, usually lobed or lobed, cross-opposite on the stem and branches. The flowers are dull pink. Blooms from June to September. Exudes a strong aroma. The plant attracts bees. Motherworts are collected in full bloom by cutting or pruning the tops and branches of the plant 30-40 cm long so that the diameter of the stem does not exceed 5 mm. Dry under normal conditions or in a tumble dryer with good ventilation at a temperature of 50-60°C. Seeds are sown in open ground: IV-VI, thin out the plants, maintaining a distance of 20x25cm.
