(Althaea rosea fl. pl.) Stock rose, common hollyhock (mallow) is famous for its height and abundance of flowers on a strong stem. Biennial, sowing in July, August. Blooms next year after sowing VII-IX. Seeds germinate in 21-28 days. The flowers are large, double, orange. Plants 150-180 cm high. Suitable for group plantings. Drought resistant.
