(Bassela alba L) An annual vine that can grow up to 2 meters in height. The fleshy, tasty leaves are eaten. Salads are prepared from them, soups are cooked, they can be preserved for the winter. The fruits are purple nuts. They are added to compotes, jelly, jams. Can be grown in pots, on balconies, supports are required. Seeds germinate for a long time, before sowing it is recommended to soak them in water at room temperature for 12 hours – they germinate faster.
