(Abutilon hybridum) Abutilon can be grown almost anywhere: in homes, gardens, greenhouses and parks. The distinctive feature of the plant is its amazing growth rate, as well as its gorgeous, lush blooms and unpretentiousness. At home, the bush develops quickly and in a couple of years can easily reach the size of a small tree. The condition for abundant flowering and active growth is attentive, yet not bothersome care. The recommended temperature is about 21-25 °C in summer and 13-16 °C in winter. Abutilon does not like cold, drafts and temperature changes. If this happens, the plant will start to shed its leaves. In heat up to 30°C, the bush will drop buds and flowers. To prevent this, spray the abutilon regularly with warm water.
